Reflecting the best of its Finnish heritage, the Finn Bear is an extremely affordable version of our popular Sisu?. It?s ideal for hunting, fishing or camping trips, and makes an efficient utility knife as well!
The 4116 Krupp Stainless blade is hollow ground and given an Rc hardness of 56-57, so it will hold a good edge and is easy to re-sharpen. Its' blade shape is centuries old and practical because of its good sturdy point for piercing and long belly for skinning, cutting and carving. It?s big and strong enough to skin a Moose, yet thin and delicate enough to slice a tomato or cut up an apple.
The Finn Bear has a straight handle with a slightly ribbed texture for traction. Its' modified diamond cross section will fit your hand like a glove and accommodate a wide variety of gripping methods. It is made of Zytel?, one of the strongest glass reinforced plastics available, so it will last for many years and never rot, crack, warp or mildew.
For safety and convenience, the Finn Bear comes with a deep pouch style Cordura sheath and generously sized belt loop so it can be worn on the waist, slung around the neck or tossed into a duffle bag or tackle box.

Shipping Information:

We normally ship each weekday, Monday through Friday. We do not and cannot ship on weekends, holidays, or while we are away from the shop either on business or vacation. Shipping time estimates shown here are ESTIMATES only. Please contact us BEFORE purchasing if you need immediate shipment or delivery. We ship 99% of our items within one or two business days, but occasionally we encounter delays ? we are only human.
We will ONLY ship to the address shown in the ?Ship to:? area of your PayPal payment. We reserve the right to ship your item by an alternate shipping method. Returns & Warranty Information:

All outright returns (only on items for which returns are accepted) are subject to a $10.00 or 20% restocking charge, whichever is greater. Alternatively, you may take store credit for the purchase price of the item being returned -- store credits must be used within 30 days. Freight charges are never refundable.

The few that we do not are items that we drop-ship to our customers directly from our sources (all drop shipped items are noted as such in the item description, but we reserve the right to drop ship any item to our customers to maintain a timely delivery). We sell in different marketplaces which makes it impossible for us to keep inventory counts on this site exact. Because of this, we cannot guarantee that the quantity shown as ?available? on any particular listing is actually in stock. We normally keep what we consider a generous stock of every item we sell on-hand.
